The building of Shri Guru Ram Das College of Education is situated near Halwara Air Force Station. The college building is tastefully designed and bears a unique architectural grandeur Natural beauty is in abundance as the College boasts of well-manicured lawns. The building houses spacious and airy classrooms, attractive and well stocked Library, Reading Room, Computer Lab, Psychology Lab, Science Lab, Educational Technology Lab, Language Lab, Audio Visual Room and Seminar Hall. The total covered area of the building is more than 1559 sq. ft. The college has sufficient open space for sports and games.

The college has well ventilated, well lit and spacious Lecture Rooms for students. The furniture provided to the students is comfortable .

The college has a well-equipped library and reading room with more than 1050 books on different subjects which provide ample opportunity to the students for self-study, self enhancement and focused learning. It remain open during the college hours. The college reading room boasts of a large number of Indian and Foreign journals and Periodicals in Education, Educational Psychology, Educational Sociology, Educational Planning, Educational Technology and many more. Besides there are Journals in Hindi, Punjabi, Science and Social Sciences. The students can also take advantage from a variety of magazines and newspapers available in the college library. The library also has internet & Photostate facility for students. The seating capacity of the library is more than 50 students.

The college owns LCD Projector, O.H.P's, Colour T.V. ", D.V.D./ V.C.D Player, Tape Recorder to be used for educational work. Students can prepare projective and non-projective material to facilitate the teaching learning process.

The college has a well-equipped and spacious Science Lab replete with Scientific Instruments, Models, Charts and Preserved Specimens.

The lab is equipped with large number of Standardized paper - pencil and performance tests to measure different aspects of human behaviour from childhood to adulthood.

A big Seminar Hall with a seating capacity of 300 persons has been provided for Morning Assembly, Extension Lectures / Workshops and other functions.

Well-equipped, language lab with Lingua-phone, Educational C.Ds, Tape Recorder to facilitate the teaching and learning of the language.

The college has an excellent Computer cum Information Technology (IT) Lab equipped with 20 Pentium–IV Computers with Multimedia. All the computers are interconnected to form a LAN (Local Area Network). The college has High Speed Internet Access.All the students are given time for gaining information through Internet. Wi-MAX access to Internet is available any where in the campus.

The college has a maths lab well equipped with recently modified maths kits, models and other teaching aids available for the students to make their teaching effective and interesting.

The college has a large playground for sports and athletics. Institute provides special attention to Total Personality Development, Necessary provision for Extra Curricular Activities including Games and Sports like Badminton, Table Tennis, Kho-Kho and Volleyball have been made in the Campus.

Arrangements have been made to provide to and from transport from Ludhiana, Raikot and surrounding areas to the college.

SGRDCE being a developed town, has plenty of hospitals and nursing homes. Services of qualified, able and proficient doctors are available round the clock.

There is an aesthetically maintained canteen which serves quality food to the students, staff and faculty at subsidizing rates.
